My favorite watercolor paintings are the ones in which I allow the paint to do it’s thing. Watercolor has a unique quality when mixed with water, it flows, it moves, it mingles with other colors. Some artists say it has a mind of it’s own. Some say it’s unpredictable and hard to control. These qualities are what I love most about watercolor.
